Australia is home to hundreds of varieties of fast growing eucalyptus trees flowering evergreens belonging to the myrtle family (Myrtaceae). Many species grow tall and wide, producing the distinctive aromatic leaves that have made eucalyptus valued in traditional herbal practices for generations.
Our eucalyptus oil is steam distilled from the leaves to preserve its natural aromatic compounds, especially 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol), the constituent responsible for its recognizable fresh scent and clarifying character.
